New Media Projects
Formats that didn't exist two years ago. Interactive, social-first, built for the way people actually watch now — and for the places they'll watch next.
PR & digital storytelling · since 2006
I'm Jeroen Simoni. For twenty years I've helped brands and travel companies find the story that's actually theirs — and tell it in film, in the press, and everywhere else it needs to go.
01 — What we do
No department store of services. Three disciplines that carry one story from the first conversation to the final frame.
Formats that didn't exist two years ago. Interactive, social-first, built for the way people actually watch now — and for the places they'll watch next.
I build the workflows myself: research, drafting, distribution, reporting. Less admin, more room for the work that needs a human.
Brand films, documentaries, travel stories. Written, shot and cut with a senior editor's eye on every frame.
02 — Who it's for
Two kinds of clients, one common thread: something real worth saying.
Twenty years of press trips, trade fairs and newsrooms taught me the same lesson: the story comes first, the channels come after. Get the story right and the press, the film and the feed all pull in the same direction.
Launch stories, product films, thought leadership and content operations that don't collapse the week after launch.
Destination storytelling, press trips, trade fairs and content that keeps working long after the season ends.
Travellers don't buy destinations. They buy the story they can picture themselves in.
— The only marketing lesson that ever really stuck
03 — Flagship service
One producer, five stages, from the first conversation to the numbers afterwards. A single point of contact, and a process that doesn't lose the story on the way to delivery.
Goals, audience, brand story. What are we actually saying, and to whom?
Storyboard, channel strategy, workflow set-up. The plan before the spend.
Video, photo, audio, AI-supported production. Senior craft, modern tools.
PR distribution, social, press, partners. One story, every surface it belongs on.
Reach, impact, adjustment. What worked, what didn't, what's next.
04 — About
Audiovisual communication specialist · storyteller · senior editor
I started out as a technical engineer, and that's still how I work: I build what I describe. Automations that take the repetition out of communication. Workflows that give a small team the output of a bigger one.
And installations that make the invisible visible — like the Plantstallation, where a plant's electrical signals become light. Twenty years in, the job is still the same as it was on day one: find the true story, then make it impossible to ignore.

05 — Featured project
Technology · Storytelling · Visual art
A living plant becomes a light source. Sensors read the tiny electrical signals moving through its leaves; software turns them into light that shifts in real time.
Part installation, part research, part story about how little we still know about the world right next to us. It's also the clearest example of what I do: technology, storytelling and visual craft in one object.
